JapanCompanyCheck is operated by the JapanCompanyCheck editorial team. It helps overseas buyers, suppliers, and researchers locate factual company information published by Japanese government bodies.

What we collect

Our company index is built from the National Tax Agency's corporate-number publication data. We join corporate qualified-invoice issuer records by the exact 13-digit number and request available company information from 経済産業省 gBizINFO. A manually reviewed alert-list file may also be checked.

What we do not collect

We do not scrape or republish commercial registry certificates. Those documents have their own official request process. We also do not fill gaps in a source by inference.

How to read a result

A match means the displayed identifier or record was found in the named source at the stated check date. Absence from one source can have several explanations and should be read only as an absence from that source.
